About “The Green Magician”
The Green Magician is a fantasy novella written by American authors L. Sprague de Camp and Fletcher Pratt. It is the fifth story in their Harold Shea series and was first published in the November 1954 issue of Beyond Fiction. The story was later included in the 1960 collection Wall of Serpents, published by Avalon Books. It has been reprinted in several collections and magazines over the years, including The Complete Compleat Enchanter and The Mathematics of Magic.
