About “Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone”

Harry Potter first sees a letter with a purple wax seal featuring a lion, an eagle, a badger, and a snake when he is living at number four, Privet Drive. The letters, written in green ink on yellowish parchment, are confiscated by his aunt and uncle. On his eleventh birthday, Rubeus Hagrid arrives and tells Harry he is a wizard and has been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This marks the beginning of an incredible adventure. The story is from a 1997 novel by J. K. Rowling.
