About “Death in the Clouds”

Hercule Poirot is seated at number nine on a short flight from Paris to London. He observes the other passengers: a young woman who is infatuated with a man across from her, the Countess of Horbury, who is struggling with a cocaine addiction, and a detective fiction writer dealing with a wasp. Suddenly, the passenger behind Poirot dies, and the murder must have been committed by someone nearby. Poirot, despite his keen observation, becomes a suspect in the crime. This is a 1935 novel by Agatha Christie.
