About “The Island”
A small group of friends travels to an isolated hunting lodge on the island of Ellidaey for a weekend getaway, seeking connection in a remote and beautiful setting. One of them dies during the trip, prompting Detective Inspector Hulda Hermannsdóttir of the Reykjavik police to investigate. The case raises questions about a possible link to a murder from ten years earlier in the Westfjords.
