This book is the second volume of Ian Kershaw's biography of Adolf Hitler, published in 2000. It covers Hitler's rise to power and his role in leading Germany through economic recovery, during which he became a widely admired figure. The Nazi regime, including the military, industrial leaders, and government officials, worked in unison under his leadership. Hitler's goal was to dominate Europe and eliminate the Jewish population. His forces caused widespread destruction across the continent. As the Allies gained strength, Hitler's situation deteriorated, and he became desperate. His final days were marked by failure and destruction, ending with his suicide in a Berlin bunker. The book is the result of extensive research, including previously unused sources.
