About “With no one as witness”

Acting Superintendent Thomas Lynley and Detective Constable Barbara Havers investigate the linked murders of four youths, three of black or mixed parentage, in this thirteenth British police procedural. Havers, demoted from sergeant to constable and dealing with a difficult personal life, works alongside Lynley, whose job has grown harder amid Superintendent Malcolm Webberly's continued absence and the need to answer directly to Assistant Commissioner David Hillier.
