About “Dr. No”
Dr. No is the sixth novel by Ian Fleming featuring James Bond, a British Secret Service agent. Fleming wrote the book in early 1957 at his Goldeneye estate in Jamaica. It was published in the United Kingdom by Jonathan Cape on 31 March 1958. The story follows Bond as he investigates the disappearance of two MI6 agents in Jamaica. He discovers they were looking into Doctor No, a Chinese-German operative running a guano mine on the fictional island of Crab Key.
