About “Stranger in Paradise”

Police Chief Jesse Stone faces Wilson "Crow" Cromartie, an Apache Indian hit man who previously robbed Paradise, Massachusetts, and escaped with stolen cash. Ten years later, Crow returns, not to turn himself in, but to ask Jesse to stay out of his way while he retrieves Amber Francisco from her mother, Fiona, and delivers her to her father, Louis, in Florida. Crow's mission becomes complicated when he refuses to kill Fiona, despite being ordered to do so. Jesse must protect Amber from a dangerous gang and a volatile situation. Meanwhile, Jesse's relationship with his ex-wife Jenn deepens as she investigates the gang for her TV station. The safety of a young girl and the possibility of a fresh start for Jesse and Jenn hang in the balance.
