Arizona sheriff Joanna Brady, pregnant, recovering from sudden family deaths, campaigning for re-election, and sending a daughter off to college, faces a puzzling case when two women fall to their deaths from a peak locals call Geronimo. She must determine whether it is murder-suicide or double homicide, and whether the perpetrator is hunting another victim.
