John Puller is a combat veteran and top military investigator in the U.S. Army’s Criminal Investigative Division. His father was a legendary Army soldier, and his brother is in prison for treason. Puller is determined to uncover the truth. He is called to a remote area in West Virginia, where a family has been murdered. A local homicide detective, a strong-willed woman with her own struggles, teams up with him. As Puller investigates, he uncovers lies and hidden truths. He discovers that nothing in the town is as it seems. He faces a conspiracy that extends beyond the region, fighting alone for justice against powerful forces.
