Kitty's radio show remains popular, and she has a boyfriend who understands her. She hopes to settle into a normal life, but trouble soon returns. When her mother falls ill, Kitty returns to Denver and faces the abusive werewolf pack she escaped a year earlier. Meanwhile, a conflict between two ancient vampires threatens the city's supernatural community. Despite wanting to stay out of the conflict, Kitty is pulled back into a world of danger and politics. To protect her family and loved ones, she must take a side and confront the possibility of becoming the very thing she fears— a killer.
