About “Land of the Lustrous, Vol. 1”
In a world inhabited by crystalline lifeforms known as The Lustrous, each gem must defend their existence against the threat of lunarians who seek to turn them into decorations. Phosphophyllite, the most fragile and brittle of gems, is assigned to complete a natural history of their world instead of joining the battle, a task that initially seems dull and pointless. This assignment brings Phos into contact with Cinnabar, a gem living in isolation, and sets the stage for both to seek the fulfillment they desire.
