Nicolae Carpathia is established as the Antichrist, beginning a three-and-a-half year rule marked by oppression and fear. Advanced technology is used to enforce the mark of the beast on all people. A group known as the Trib Force works to stay alive and resist the growing danger. The story focuses on survival and the challenges faced by those who oppose the Antichrist.
