Drizzt and Catti-brie have been away from Mithral Hall for six years, still carrying the weight of a lost companion. They are drawn into an adventure when they chase pirates aboard the Sea Sprite. A mysterious castaway on an uncharted island leads them back to the source of their pain, where they face a demon seeking revenge. The story is part of the Forgotten Realms series, specifically the tenth book in The Legend of Drizzt and the fourth in The Legacy of the Drow. It was published as a 1996 novel by R. A. Salvatore.
