Maigret and the Good People of Montparnasse is a novel by Georges Simenon, originally published in French in 1962 under the title Maigret et les braves gens. The English translation by Ros Schwartz was released in 2018 by Penguin Books, while an earlier version translated by Helen Thomson, titled Maigret and the Black Sheep, was published in 1976 by Hamish Hamilton.
