About “Death on the hour”
Clayton Carter, a top reporter and head of IBC's news department, is killed when his personal television-monitoring gadget is tampered with. Assistant District Attorney Bernie Simmons and Police Captain John Stein investigate, suspecting Carter's estranged wife and her boyfriend, an IBC vice-president, over unexplained details like phone-tapping and a mystery man's masquerade.
