About “Jo's Boys”

This 1886 novel by Louisa May Alcott is a sequel to her earlier works "Little Women" and "Little Men." It follows the return of the classmates of Plumfield, Jo's school for boys. The story brings back characters such as Nat, an orphaned street musician now studying at a conservatory, and Dan, a restless boy who has returned from the gold mines of California.
