About “Marvel Premiere #1”
Marvel Premiere #1 is the first issue of an American comic book anthology series published by Marvel Comics. The series, which ran from April 1972 to August 1981, was initially intended as a tryout book to test the viability of characters or concepts for standalone series, though it later served as a venue for stories not suitable for other publications. Despite its title, the majority of the characters and concepts featured had previously appeared in other Marvel Comics.
