About “Back to Before”

Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Cassie, and Marco live a normal life when the Animorphs never existed. They no longer have the ability to morph or fight the Yeerks. However, the Yeerks are still a threat, and the group is unaware of this danger. Life seems easier, but it is not as simple as it appears. The absence of the Animorphs does not mean the Yeerks have disappeared. The characters face a world without their powers and without knowing the true nature of the enemy. This 2000 novel by Katherine Applegate explores the consequences of a life without the struggle against the Yeerks.
