About “Mr. Monk and The Blue Flu”
Mr. Monk and the Blue Flu is the third novel by Lee Goldberg, based on the television series Monk. The story begins when the mayor of San Francisco reinstates police officers with mental health issues, including Adrian Monk, in response to a blue flu. Monk joins a squad of eccentric detectives who face a series of murders connected by missing left shoes and shared birth dates. They also deal with former colleagues from the other side of a labor dispute. The novel is narrated by Natalie Teeger, Monk's assistant, as in previous books.
