About “The Next Witness”
"The Next Witness" is a mystery novella by Rex Stout, originally titled "The Last Witness," which was first published in the May 1955 issue of The American Magazine. It was later included in the 1956 short-story collection Three Witnesses, published by Viking Press. The story features the detective Nero Wolfe and follows his investigation into a murder case.
