About “The red box”

Nero Wolfe and his assistant Archie investigate the death of a model who ate poisoned candy. A suspect asks Wolfe to manage his estate, particularly the contents of a red box. Wolfe is initially concerned about a conflict of interest but agrees after the man dies in his office before revealing the box's location. The police believe the man shared more information before dying. This novel marks the first time a murder occurs in Wolfe's office.
