About “Star Trek New Frontier - No Limits”
In 1997, Star Trek: New Frontier debuted and quickly gained popularity, following the adventures of Captain Mackenzie Calhoun and the USS Excalibur, written by New York Times bestselling author Peter David. Over a dozen books later, David collected contributions from various Star Trek authors to create new stories featuring the Excalibur crew. Dayton Ward wrote about Calhoun's past, Loren L. Coleman explored Shelby's first encounter with the Borg, and Robert Greenberger told the origin of "Lefler's Laws." Susan Shwartz wrote about Soleta and Ambassador Spock, while Terri Osborne described Selar's meeting with the Q. David Mack wrote about Zak Kebron's longest day. Additional stories were written by Keith R.A. DeCandido, Susan Wright, and others. A bonus story by Peter David recounted Calhoun and Shelby's honeymoon on Xenex.
