The Prior Analytics is a work by Aristotle that focuses on reasoning, specifically syllogistic logic, written around 350 BC. It is one of six surviving Aristotelian texts on logic and scientific method. The text is part of a collection known as the Organon, which was named by later Peripatetics, followers of Aristotle.
