About “The Gnome King of Oz”
The Gnome King of Oz (1927) is the twenty-first book in the Oz series, written by Ruth Plumly Thompson and the seventh in the series to be authored by her. It was illustrated by John R. Neill, as was nineteen of the previous twenty books. The story was followed by The Giant Horse of Oz in 1928. The book is part of the larger Oz series, which was created by L.
