Bobby Pendragon, a fifteen-year-old Traveler, believes he understands his role in protecting the territories of Halla from the villain Saint Dane. However, he is forced to confront a difficult decision when the people of Eelong face a deadly plague. To save them, Bobby must obtain an antidote from another territory, but transporting items between territories is strictly forbidden by Traveler rules.
