About “Serpent's Tooth”

A disgruntled ex-employee walks into a trendy Los Angeles restaurant with an automatic weapon, leaving thirteen people dead and thirty-two wounded. Though eyewitnesses saw only the lone gunman, who apparently took his own life, evidence suggests more than one weapon was fired, sending Homicide Detective Peter Decker into a labyrinthine world of Southern California money and power that threatens his reputation and career.
