About “Phantom prey”
In this Prey novel, a widow returns to her house in a wealthy suburb to find blood everywhere, no body, and her college-aged daughter missing. The daughter ran with a Goth crowd, and when a second Goth is found slashed to death in Minneapolis, the widow contacts Weather Davenport to get Lucas involved. A third Goth is killed in what looks like a Jack-the-Ripper-style series, and a young Goth woman keeps appearing and disappearing, leaving Lucas suspecting something else is going on.
