About “Three-dimensional geometry and topology”
The geometry and topology of three-manifolds is a set of notes from a graduate course taught by William Thurston at Princeton University between 1978 and 1980, later published as a book. The notes, written by Thurston with assistance from students William Floyd and Steven Kerchoff, introduced new concepts in geometric topology such as orbifolds, pleated manifolds, and train tracks.
