About “The forsaken”
A nameless Black man arrived in Jericho, Mississippi, 36 years prior with only the clothes on his back and a pair of paratrooper boots. After being accused of rape and murder within two days, he was lynched by a self-appointed posse, and decades later, evidence of his innocence emerges, prompting county sheriff Quinn Colson to investigate the cold case. As Colson uncovers long-buried lies and confronts those determined to protect their secrets, he becomes the target of serious accusations that threaten to destroy him.
