About “Red Rising”
Darrow is a Red in a future society divided by color-coded castes. As part of the lowest class, he works tirelessly, believing he is helping make Mars livable for future generations. He lives for the dream of freedom for his children and for the promise of a better world. But Darrow soon learns that the surface of Mars is already thriving, and his people are slaves to a wealthy Gold caste. Driven by a desire for justice and the memory of lost love, Darrow infiltrates the Institute, a school for the Gold elite.
