
About “The Da Vinci Code”
The Da Vinci Code is a 2003 mystery thriller written by Dan Brown. It features the character Robert Langdon, a symbologist, and Sophie Neveu, a cryptologist. The story begins after a murder occurs in the Louvre Museum in Paris. Langdon and Neveu become involved in a conflict between two groups, the Priory of Sion and Opus Dei. The central mystery revolves around the possibility that Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene had a child. The novel explores historical and religious themes through a series of puzzles and clues. It is Brown's second book to feature Langdon, following Angels & Demons, published in 2000.
