
About “The Triumph of Caesar”
Caesar, having defeated his rivals, is now dictator for life. He plans to execute Vercingetorix, the leader of the Gauls, and Arsinoe, the sister of Cleopatra. Cleopatra is in Rome on a state visit, attempting to persuade Caesar to recognize their son as his heir. The story takes place during a time of political tension and power struggles.
