Rune is a twenty-one-year-old aspiring filmmaker working as a production assistant in Manhattan. She sees an opportunity when she witnesses the bombing of a triple-X theater in Times Square and decides to make a documentary about it, focusing on Shelly Lowe, a porn star whose film was playing at the time. Rune films Shelly reflecting on her dreams of becoming a serious actress. Shortly after, Shelly is killed by a second bomb. Rune is determined to uncover whether Shelly was a victim of chance or a target. As she works to complete her film, she faces a growing threat that could end her story before it is finished.
