About “Evershore”

Evershore is the final novella in the Skyward series by Brandon Sanderson and Janci Patterson, told from the perspective of Jorgen on the planet Detritus. With the government in disarray due to Superiority treachery and Spensa absent on a mission, Jorgen teams up with the alien Alanik to respond to a mysterious transmission from the planet Evershore, home to the Kitsen, who claim to hold some of Jorgen’s people and wish to return them. Jorgen must also grapple with the growing instability of his cytonic abilities as he seeks to form an alliance against the Superiority.
