About “Star Trek - Timetrap”
A 1988 Star Trek novel by David Dvorkin. In a remote area of Federation space, the Enterprise picks up a distress signal from a Klingon vessel, the Mauler, trapped in a dimensional storm, though the ship refuses both the Enterprise's call and its offers of help. Kirk beams aboard with a security team as the storm reaches its highest intensity, and the Mauler vanishes from the viewscreen -- after which Kirk awakens a hundred years in the future.
