About “Star Trek Voyager - Chrysalis”
When the sensors of the USS Voyager detect plant life on an unexplored planet, Captain Janeway leads an away team to search for food. They discover lush gardens tended by an alien race that considers the plants sacred. The beautiful blossoms are dangerous, causing the away team to fall into comas. Trapped on the planet, the team searches for a cure while facing opposition from the garden's worshippers. As the affliction spreads, Janeway must find a way to save her crew or face death or eternal sleep. The story is from a 1997 novel by David Niall Wilson.
