About “Prime Directive”

Starfleet's highest law has been broken, and its most honored captain is in disgrace. The starship Enterprise, once celebrated, is now in pieces, and its crew is scattered across the Federation's thousand worlds. Spock, McCoy, and the rest of the former Enterprise crew travel to Talin, the planet where their careers ended. Once a thriving world, Talin is now ruined, its cities in ashes and its surface devastated by a radioactive firestorm. They must uncover how and why this tragedy occurred and find out what has happened to their captain. This is the setting of a 1990 novel by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens.
