About “Star Trek - Home is the Hunter”

A dispute over a planet and its primitive people leads Captain Kirk and a Klingon commander to battle each other. Their fight is interrupted by an alien named Weyland, who punishes three Enterprise crewmembers by sending them to different points in history. Sulu is sent to feudal Japan during a major power struggle, Scotty to 18th century Scotland on the eve of a revolt, and Chekov to WWII Russia. Each must navigate dangerous situations while balancing their loyalty to their homelands, their duty to the Federation, and the demands of the past. The story is a 1990 Star Trek novel by Dana Kramer-Rolls.
