About “The Wounded Sky”
A 1983 novel by Diane Duane follows an alien scientist who creates the Intergalactic Inversion Drive, an advanced engine that surpasses warp drive. The Enterprise is chosen to test the new technology. The Klingons try to stop the test, but the crew soon experiences strange symptoms, and time begins to behave unpredictably. Captain Kirk and his crew must find a way to fix the damage and restore the natural flow of time before the universe is irreparably harmed.
