About “Coots in the North and other stories”
Coots in the North is an incomplete novel by Arthur Ransome, identified and named by his biographer, Hugh Brogan. It was published in 1988 as a fragment, along with other short stories by Ransome. The story begins in the Broads and then moves to the Lake District when the characters take a boat being delivered to the North. The novel was never completed and remains a partial work.
