Lando Calrissian is a character in the Star Wars franchise. He first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back (1980) as the leader of Cloud City. In the film, he betrays Han Solo to Darth Vader but later aids his friends. In Return of the Jedi (1983), he helps free Han from Jabba the Hutt and joins the Rebel Alliance. Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) shows his early relationship with Han, while The Rise of Skywalker (2019) depicts him joining the Resistance against the First Order.
