About “The touch”
The Adversary Cycle is a series of seven novels written by American author F. Paul Wilson. It was originally titled the Nightworld Cycle. The series was renamed after John Clute, a science fiction critic, referred to "the Adversary" in his comments on Wilson's work. Wilson adopted the name because he liked it. The series is part of Wilson's broader body of work in the science fiction genre. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0.)
