About “In the Grip of Winter”
The Animals of Farthing Wood is a series of books centered on a group of woodland animals. The series began with the 1979 novel The Animals of Farthing Wood by Colin Dann. It was followed by six sequels and a prequel, also written by Dann. A television adaptation of the books was produced as an animated series in the 1990s.
