Lord Grizzly is a 1954 biographical novel by Frederick Manfred. It is the first novel in his Buckskin Man Tales series, which consists of five novels. This was Manfred's first novel published under his new pen name, after seven previous novels written under the name Feike Feikema. A screenplay was written by the husband of Manfred's daughter, Freya, but the film was never produced. The novel became a bestseller and was a finalist for the National Book Award in 1955.
