About “The Last Thane”
The novel follows the conflict between the baser clans of Thorbardin and the Hylar, the ancestral rulers of an underground realm. When the Hylar army leaves to fight the Knights of Takhisis, the dark dwarves seize the chance to attack. The Hylar are trapped in their fortress city, the Life Tree, struggling to survive as magic and madness spread. Theiwar, Daergar, and Klar lead the assault with intense aggression. Chaos also joins the fight against all dwarves, and the Hylar face betrayal and the possibility of Torbardin's destruction.
