About “The Power that Preserves”

Thomas Covenant was summoned twice to the Land, a magical otherworld where he fought alongside the Lords of Revelstone against Lord Foul, the Land's ancient enemy. A pariah on Earth, Covenant possessed the wild magic of White Gold but did not understand its power. Now he returned to a Land devastated by Lord Foul's armies. The Lords were besieged and helpless, and no place was safe. Only Covenant could prevent Foul's victory. He set out to confront the Enemy with a Giant, a Bloodguard, and the madwoman he had wronged. Lord Foul grew stronger with each defeat the Land suffered. This is the story of the final challenge.
