About “The Little Sisters of Eluria”

The Little Sisters of Eluria is a prequel to the first volume of the Dark Tower saga. After the fall of Gilead and the death of the Gunslingers at the Battle of Jericho Hill, Roland wanders alone, searching for the Man in Black. During the season of Full Earth, he enters the abandoned town of Eluria in the Desatoya Mountains. The town is empty except for a lame dog, a drowned boy, and the sound of silver bells. Roland is attacked by the Green Folk, slow mutants, and is rescued by the Little Sisters of Eluria, an itinerant group of female healers. However, the women are not what they seem, and Roland must resist their narcotic potions to survive.
