About “Mortalis”

The long struggle is over, as the demon dactyl is defeated by Pony, a woman who used gemstone magic to destroy its dark sorcery. However, the victory comes at a great cost, as Pony loses her lover, the elf-trained ranger Elbryan Wynden. Though the dactyl is gone, the kingdom remains filled with intrigue and conflict. When a deadly sickness spreads among the people of Corona, Pony must go on a pilgrimage that challenges her abilities and beliefs. Throughout her journey, she is followed by Marcalo De'Unnero, the man she despises most, who was responsible for Elbryan's death and seeks to lead her toward destruction.
