About “A Meeting at Corvallis”

In the tenth year of The Change, survivors in western Oregon have adapted to a world without technology. They have developed new ways to live and organize themselves. However, tensions rise as two groups clash. One group wants to rebuild the world peacefully, while the other is led by the Protector, who seeks to expand his control through any means necessary. This conflict puts the entire region at risk of war. The story is from a 2006 novel by S. M. Stirling.
